QuikTab is a CMS style WordPress theme with a jQuery powered sliding content area. It loads up all the content at one time and allows the user to browse with smooth animations and no page reloads. This theme is for sale at ThemeForest.
Completed under employment of NCsoft. Operation Immortality is a new promotion around Richard Garriott’s trip into space. Richard will be taking the ‘Immortality Drive’ with him into space, and users can sign up to send personal messages, upload their character, even win a chance at having their actual DNA sampled and taken into space. As part of promotion for Operation Immortality, I got to design and implement a ‘takeover’ of the PlayNC homepage. For the next 25 days, PlayNC.com will feature a new look to alert everyone of the new promotion. I was responsible for story boarding of the flash object (it was actually built out by Seth Scoville), design of all the new page elements, and coding/integration with our current template system.
Completed under employment of NCsoft. Dungeon Runners is a free to play online multiplayer game with an incredibly wacky sense of humor. Starting in June ‘08 you will be able to buy a special edition of Dungeon Runners in many major retail stores. In celebration of the retail launch we redesigned and relaunched DungeonRunners.com, as well as adding a couple new vanity addresses: BlingGnome.com and TheMotherOfAllRPGs.com. My responsibilities included some of the design elements as well as the majority of all the chopping, coding, and integration with Movable Type. Sometime in the next few weeks I’m hoping to write an extended entry of some things I learned and had to consider when relaunching a major, existing site.
Completed under employment of NCsoft. City of Heroes in an online, subscription-based super hero multiplayer game. For the first time, they are offering free trial accounts for new players, so they launched a mini-site to gain attention for the promotion. My responsibilities included chopping, coding, and testing the site. The site includes a description of the game, a jquery-powered screenshot viewer, and an embedded flash trailer for the game.
Another template for sale at Templamatic, and this time its not WordPress (GASP). I had fun doing just a standard XHTML/CSS template, and I worked in sliding content blocks powered by MooTools.

This was a joint project with Ben Harper. Ben had the site complete, but the client wanted to add a blog, so I was brought in to port the layout and content to WordPress. Now the client can not only blog with WordPress, but can manage all the page content and easily make edits or changes to the site.
